The "Perfect Loop" knot

This simple knot does not slip even on very thin synthetic fishing lines. It is used mainly by fishermen to attach hooks to the fishing line. It is convenient to tighten the loop by throwing it on a well-fixed column.

1. Put the running end under the root to form a loop.
