1. Thread the lace through the bottom hole from the bottom up.
2. Pull the left end under the stitch and push it from the bottom up into the second bottom hole on the right.
3. Do the same with the right end of the shoelace.
4. Thread the right end of the lace under the stitch closest to it, pass from the bottom up through the third hole from the bottom to the left.
