1. Pass the lace through the bottom holes from bottom to top.
2. Pull the right end of the shoelace from top to bottom through the fourth hole on the left.
3. Thread it from the bottom up into the fifth hole from the bottom on the left.
4. Pass the bottom end of the lace under the top and thread it the same way.
5. Pull the left end of the lace under the other, push it from top to bottom into the second bottom hole on the right and from bottom to top into the third.
6. Also thread the other end of the shoelace.
7. Pull the left end of the lace under the stitch closest to it from above and pull it from the bottom up from the upper right hole. Thread the right end in the same way.
