Tutorial for Roman Lacing, in which the alternating “X-I-X-I” on top of the shoe looks a little like Roman numerals.
1. Thread the lace from the bottom up into the two lower left holes.
2. Pull the upper end from top to bottom through the lower right hole.
3. Slide the left end from top to bottom through the second bottom hole on the right.
4. Thread the end of the lace coming out of the bottom hole from the bottom up into the third bottom hole on the right.
5. Pull the other end from the bottom up into the fourth bottom hole on the right.6. Thread the bottom end from top to bottom into the third bottom hole on the left and from bottom to top.
7. Push it from top to bottom into the fifth bottom hole on the right and from bottom to top into the sixth.
8. Pull the other end of the shoelace in the same way.
