This knot is often used by anglers. It is great for both synthetic fishing line and braided cord. If necessary, the knot is easily untied.
1. Wrap the running end of the rope around the attachment point so that it is at the back.
2. Pull this end in front of the root.
3. Wrap the running end of the rope around the root part.
4. Pass the running end through the resulting loop and tighten the knot.
